The 5KM bubble fun run is not timed. Runners of all ages may participate and are encouraged to walk or run at your comfortable pace. There will be bubble stations along the route which you can opt to pass through or pass around.

The 10KM race ends after 2 hours and the 21KM race ends after 3 hours 30 minutes. The fastest runners to reach the finish line in the 10KM and 21KM races according to their respective categories will be awarded with prizes.

This is up to your judgement and for you to decide. You are advised to consult your doctor before registering.

A little rain won’t stop the event! Though of-course in the very unlikely situation of extreme weather conditions, and the event having to be cancelled, all participants will be informed as soon as possible.

Registration

a. For 5KM, there is no age restriction to participate but participants must be able to complete the distance.

b. All children aged 5 years and above as of 13 September 2025 must be registered.

c. All participants, registered and unregistered aged below 17 years of age as of the 13 September 2025 must be accompanied at all times by at least one registered adult being aged 18 years and above as of 13 September 2025.

d. Children below the age of 5 years as of 13 September 2025 may register if they wish to receive a Race Pack.

You can pay by credit card, FPX or e-wallets through the online payment portal, which you will be directed to, after you have completed the registration form.

Yes, bulk registration is possible, however you must have available all teammates’ information for the registration page.

You will receive an e-ticket upon your successful registration which will be sent to your registered email address. Do take note that a copy of the e-ticket, hard or soft copy, is a compulsory document required during your Race Pack collection. Please remember to bring along your e-ticket and your NRIC for verification during the Race Pack collection.

All entries are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-deferrable.

No, you may not make any changes once registration is complete.

Event Day

No. To ensure the safety of all participants, using any wheel-run objects during the race is not allowed. Any participants using wheel-run objects will be requested to exit the race course immediately by the security officers/officials.

Yes, baby prams / strollers are allowed in the course but are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Public parking spots are available around the race venue. Parking is limited, carpooling is highly encouraged. Please follow the instructions of the parking attendants on event day. Any unauthorized parking may result in summons and your car being towed away.

No. Pets are strictly not allowed on the race venue and race course.

Yes, there will be a baggage drop-off counter at the race venue for your convenience. However, please note that items are left at your own risk. We strongly recommend keeping your valuables (phones, wallets, etc.) with you at all times.

Manned first aid stations are along the course to attend to participants who are injured and/or unable to finish the race.

The 5KM fun run cut-off time will be 1.5 hours from the flag-off time, after which the public roads will be reopened.
The 10KM race ends after 2 hours and the 21KM race ends after 3 hours 30 minutes.

You will pass through Bubble Stations along the route where you will be showered in bubbles and foam. How much or how little you receive applied depends on how close to the dispensing points that you run past.

The foam will wash out after the event but as with anything using a soluble dye the sooner you wash it, the better. Stains can sometimes remain. We strongly suggest wearing items that you wouldn’t mind getting stained.

The bubble and foam is non-toxic and 100% safe and simply made by mixing water with a soap based solution of highly foaming surfactants (similar to baby shampoo).

As with any substance though, you want to keep it out of your eyes and mouth as much as possible.

Bringing a towel or a change of clothes should remove any problem.

Race photographers will be taking lots of photos and on-route cameras and phones are fine, but if you want to get pictures right in the midst of the Bubble Stations we recommend wrapping them in a plastic covering.

Yes! Keep an eye out for our photobooth wall mural along the 5KM route. It’s the perfect spot to capture your proud moments. Don’t forget to share your photos on social media and tag us using our official event hashtags!

The festival and its interactive attractions are provided free of charge. However, there will be food and beverage concessions and vendors to make the Festival even more enjoyable, so a small amount might come in handy.

Yes! We will be having a giant canvas for all participants to collectively paint and express their creativity. We believe that the real impact of participatory art lies in human connection and relationships formed in the process. There will be painting equipment provided at the area which participants can freely utilise.

Yes. We encourage family and friends that aren’t participating to come, watch and enjoy the festivities.

How We Choose the Winners

This category is open to all registered participants of Matrix Malaysia Day Run 2025 in the 5KM, 10KM and 21KM categories.

Winners will be verified through a photo ID and wristband/running bib.

Winners will be selected based on photos post event and announced via social media.

Outfits that show the spirit of Malaysia – such as the flag colours, cultural elements, or messages of unity.

Fun and original outfit ideas that stand out from the crowd.

You can see that time and effort went into planning or making the outfit.

The outfit should still be suitable and safe to run in.

Friendly, happy runners who help spread the Malaysia Day cheer.

Race Pack Collection

The collection will be at d’Tempat Country Club, Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan on the 11th and 12th of September at 10am-6pm. There will be no event day collection.

Yes. Your representative must bring along your registration e-ticket with the authorization section duly completed and signed by you.

Please refer to the chart for the size measurement. All sizes are unisex cutting. Requests for change of T-shirt size will NOT be entertained at any point of time including during Race Pack Collection and Event Day.

No, we will be having a collection on the weekend before the event, kindly make the necessary arrangement to have it collected by a representative should you not be available.

No. Unfortunately, all Race Pack not collected during the designated period will be forfeited.
